Hallo,

after I installed the .net 3.5 framework, I cant start ProgDVB 5.14.4.

I get the message: ProgDVBNet hat ein Problem festgestellt und muss beendet werden


The Debugger shows me this:

An unhandled exception (System.OI.FileNotFoundException) occurred in ProgDvbNet.exe [3592]

What can I do to fix this problem?

Do you still have installed .NET 2.0 (with recent updates)?
These runtime environments are not really down compatible, but they can coexist on a system.

I use .net 2.0 + service pack 2

As this should not cause your trouble then, it's time to add some of your relevant details now, like OS and SP, precise DVB device, driver, in case codecs and renderer.
Also let us know, what other DVB applications you have tested, with what results. This includes the original one, that came with your hardware.

I will be out for some days, so perhaps someone else would have to continue.

Until then, you may test a bit more.
Start with removing the ProgDVB.ini and it's safety copy, if exists. Most settings would have to be redone then. Try another renderer. Or perhaps leave all DirectShow codec entries blank, to get started.
Also remove all unnecessary device files from the modules folder.

I think, your application works good.

there must be a problem with my .net installation, because every .net application like progdvb, paint.net or sharpdevelop has the same error message:

I removed all my .net installations and I installed the .net 2.0 + sp2 again, but without success, the error message is the same...

Sorry, but this does not even look like a ProgDVB issue.
Obviously your trouble results from broken Windows then...
