EPG, IR Remote, and Locking up problems

I am new to the sattelites on pc's stuff. I purchased the SkyStar 2 USB, installed the hardware appropriately, installed Server4PC

and DVBViewer by the provided CDROM. The version of Server4PC is 4.4.3. I can watch FTA channels adequately with DVBViewer. I read

on some forums that ProgDVB is a good viewer, so I downloaded it, version 5.14.04. I live in Kuwait and my home FTA reciever works

with the current sattelite hardware and setup. It picks up Hotbird 6/7A/8 and Niles 101/102 sattelites. I have over 1,000 channels

with this FTA Reciver. In ProgDVB, I have under the Channel Search, Hotbird 6/7A/8 and Niles 101/102. I am also on Vista.

I am having some problems with getting ProgDVB to work properly, that I was hoping you could help with:

1. I have an IR remote with Skystar 2 USB but I cannot figure out how to make it work with ProgDVB. It works fine with DVBViewer. I

have the SkyStar IR running on my pc. What do I need to do?
3. My EPG's for the channels I have checked only show for an hour ahead. How can I get more information in the ProgDVB EPG?
4. It continues to crash periodicyally. It does it everytime that I try to play a show I recorded, but otherwise it is periodically

when I choose channels. I can "flip" through the channels and then suddenly it will stop responding. I have to cancel the process

and start it over.

I appreciate your help in advance on the above frustrations.

1. SkyStar2 RC must work over winlirc module.
3. Service->epg? It depended from channel.
4. Please send more information about crash on my email.
