First launch crashes

Hi,

ProgDVB works fine for me, however an annoying issue:

On every first launch of progDVB (after i restart the PC only) the program hangs but the last TV channel is visible and playing fine (however rest of the software has hung)

If i force closure of the progDVB and end the process it restarts and I click start normally. It then works fine from then on, I can close and reopen fine, until the next PC restart, i then repeat the above steps.

What could it be? Settings? Codecs? Decoders? ...Help!

My settings

Directo show Video: ffdshow Video Decoder
Audio: MPEG Audio Decoder
Video Render: VMR-9
ProgDVB v 5.15.02
O/S: WinXP 64bit SP2
DirectX 9.0c

Yes, this bug is in version 5.15.01,5.15.02,5.15.03 Professional (SS2 cards), card has off LNB power. This bug is reproduced.

Solved: first run an alternative player (after restart PC).

Yes, without patches, original software. Today I need not use patched version because there is Software 4.4.0 with PVR & Timeshift

I can also confirm Im using latest drivers for: Usb DVB-T 64bit

I tried your work around of launching alternative player, I launched Windows media player 11 and played an Avi.

It still crashed on first start...

Any other suggestion?

WMP can't help on this, as it's not a DVB player, that would start your device.

However, 4.4.0 is NOT the latest driver for an SS2.
Should be 4.4.3, and the next version is being prepared, AFAIK.

Regarding the DVB-T device, no details given
