Progdvb Pro 4.91.3 _can't recored more than one audio stream

Hi all,

i do have a problem with Progdvb 4.91.3 Pro version. The reason why i bought the pro version yesterday was, that i would like to record more than one audio stream. Given what i read on the Progdvb webpages, this is possible by using the pid recorder.
So what i did after i downloaded the mentioned version is:
1. Uninstalled the free Progdvb version (which is suitable to my needs, except the topic mentioned above)
2. Installed the Progdvb Pro version and registered it.

Unfortunately, i can't record more that one audio stream (plus the video stream) by using the pid recorder. In the pid recorder window, except the preselected data option all other choices are greyed out.

I read that i have to set under Settings, Options that TS=Transport Stream should be used. But, i don't have an entry like that there. They only setting i can see which might be linked with this is "receive mpeg2 from skystar1". But, this is preselected and grayed out. So i can't change it and in fact, i didn't found a way to make this setting available to me. The only TS related setting i can see is under record options and here i selected TS.

So, i wonder what i have to do in order to get the pid recorder working?

1. Do i have to run Progdvb in Hardware of Software mode? (in fact in tried both)
2. Which settings do i have to set and where can i find it?
3. Do i have any other plugin or what so ever to make the pid recorder working?
4. Do i have to set one or more of the direct draw filters to a specific value?

Here are some configuration details:
1. It's a quite old PC, just used for home entertainment PIII 800Mhz, 256MB memory
2. Technotrend Premium/ Hauppauge Nexus SAT Card - Driver Version 2.19 (downloaded from Technotrend)

If you have any ideas how to solve my problem, please let me know.

Thanks in advance

.

It is problem. Because your dvb card not support more half of ProgDVB Pro functions include TS format.

Reason is, the Nexus / SS1 concept does the stream filtering in hardware alone and due to this does not allow access to the full transport stream by any software. The amount of available HW filters is very limited and complicated to handle.
This does no depend on HW or SW mode, it's hardware wired internally.

Linux people once have developed a hardware modification for TS, but this is for absolute experts only (SMD soldering...) and will not help in the Windows world at all AFAIK, driver limitations.

If I were you, I would not discuss this in the open.
Prog's e-mail is at the bottom of the page.
