i have a card with chipset dm1105n and it is not working even if i use the 1105 drivers. but works with the software it came with. all seems to be fine until you try and search for channels and nothing happens

Even if the main chip is a known one, the other components may vary, like tuner (chip), for example.
DVB-S / -C / -T ?
Antenna proven working for that (like dish being aligned)?

So tell us the full name and brand of that device, add full details on driver used and DVB software included. Also mention the device(s) tested in ProgDVB, precisely.

Not to forget, what exactly do you mean with 'nothing happens'?
No frequencies changing or nothing found? Or stations scanned but black screen and no sound? How if you try to scan a transponder manually? L & Q?

the card is call orange dvbs and the chipset is sdmc 1105n. and No frequencies changing when i try and scan on manual, automatic or bilnd search and the driver is 1105cap
