when i program something for recording it will create the file and the file size will increase, however when i go to play it back its just a blank screen, and gos from start to finish in a second.

I have my codes installed.

version is 4.91.4

Try this :

- Open MPC then go to options window
- choose internal filters
- checked these ( DTS/AC3 , MPEG PS/TS/PVA , MPEG Audio ) from Source filters
- checked these ( DTS , MPEG Audio , MPEG-2 video ) from Transform filters
