Hallo

I Have al lot of problems with my Technisat Cablestar 2 HD and Progdvb
i cant find anny channels & the blind search is not working

1. I cant use any usual Provider list for German DVB-C to find channels because the dvb-s signal in the house where i live is transformed into an dvb-c signal that is totaly diffrent from the normal signal like cabel-germany(kabel deutschland) or something

whith a lot of luck i have fund 1 provider with 5 channels
@ 498000 / 6900 / qam 64

2. the blind search is not working with my card...... i dont know why but after 5-10sec it finisch without any result

50500-880000 / 6111,6875,6900 /qam 64, 256

Windows Vista Home Premium 32
Technisat Driver 1.1 (newest)

sorry for my bad english ;-)
thanks

Normally, the owner of that system should provide you with relevant data.

As in Germany such a conversion system must be certified and even licensed, that data must be documented and available.

BTW, do you pay for that service, in any way?

Another chance would surely be, to learn the transponder data from a neighbour with a well working tuner.

Should not be more than a handful of (digital) transponders, normally.
Conversion devices cost by station, more or less. And as the data rate mentioned tells us, there is not a complete satellite transponder included, the conversion must be done station by station, then recombined to narrow DVB-C transponders.
