Confused over ProgDVB & Multiswitch configuration. Help!

Please bear with me, it's quite complicated to explain.

I have a 1.2m dish with a Quatrro LNB and a Sky Minidish with a Quattro LNB. The Sky feeds input the 1st 4 inputs and the 1.2m input the 2nd 4 inputs (as per manufacturer instructions).

The Sky receiver works fine without further configuration as this doesn't use Diseqc. My Linux boxes work with me using Diseqc 1.0 with A/A for Sky Minidish and B/B for 1.2m dish.

However, I am struggling to get my Skystar2 PCI card working with ProgDVB. I can receive the Sky transmissions but cannot work out which combination of settings in ProgDVB to get it to receive the other dish!

Could someone please help me out, it's driving me nuts. Thanks.

Normally you will have to add a DiSEqC 1.0 switch, place LNBs to the first two inputs and coordinate with the positions correctly.

A 'Simple' switch may but not must work as well. If in doubt, read the manual for that multiswitch.

A multiswitch normally won't be mentioned in LNB / DiSEqC settings, as H/V and band switching happens exactly as on a Universal Single LNB. But the DiSEqC component inside definitely must be entered.

LNBs made for European market should work with default Ku band settings for LOFs and (band) switch value.

One more thing is very important, the LNB cables must not be mixed up.
13 Volts 22kHz off is Vertical Lowband (VL on the LNB)
18 Volts 22kHz off is Horizontal Lowband (HL)
13 Volts 22kHz on is Vertical Highband (VH)
18 Volts 22kHz on is Horizontal Highband (HH)
On each LNB...
Else your transponder lists won't work properly for scanning.
