I have a hauppauge nova-hd-s2 card and have installed the pro version of progdvb (version 4.9x)

I setup the card as the dvb-s/dvb-s2 from the options, and told it I was on astra/eurobird. I then did a channel scan.

It has found all the mpeg channels, inc BBC HD, but has not found any of the dvb-s2 channels such as sky sports hd, eurosport hd etc.

What do I need to do to activate the full S2 scanning as I thought that the pro version would enable this.

I need to get this working in order to pay up for a full licence.

Look at satcodx.com, for the frequencies and other parameters of the DVB-S2 transponders.
Then try to tune in manually.

Perhaps the transponder list for 28.2 is not up-to-date and requires some editing. Or look at joshyfun.peque.org for a new one.

Over there in Russia, testing on 28.2 is not really an option, so Prog would not notice.
And I don't have DVB-S2 hardware.

It it hauppauge card? try select mode in settings->device options.
