*I am looking for a programmer to make a program for the Freecom DVB-T stick for another purpose. I have a MW down converter in front of the stick to watch MW signals. Need to make a new channel plan. Thanks!

Sorry, but what exactly are you trying to tell us?

What do you mean by "MW"? Microwave? What frequency range, what channel bandwidth, ...
What kind of conversion? Tuned or fixed converter, what output (range)...

What modulation does that whatsoever service use?
What symbol rate, FEC, guard interval, ...
Is it in any way related with DVB-T???
FTA or scrambled?

We are not supposed to receive nor even know that over here in Europe.
So a few more details may be helpful, possibly a couple of links to service provider, technical specs and alike.

A programmer could only use, what the hardware can handle. A DVB tuner can't be reprogrammed to turn into a lawn mover...

Hi I am building a DVB-T receiver that works in the 2 Ghz band. We are using the FREECOM as a de modulator and a tuner. In front of the FREECOM we have a 2 Ghz to UHF down converter. Typically we have used a 1833 Mhz local oscillator so the resultant channel coverts nicly to the FREECOM. The problem with the present FREECOM software is that we need ot display the 2 Ghz channel to the user. We also do not need EPG and other Broadcast features like teletext.

Where from do you get the 2 GHz transmission, DIY or what provider / service?

Do you have more than one transponder / Frequency available? If so, do you use a constant LOF to convert, or do you tune that?

Perhaps read my first reply again, I don't like the idea of repeating myself...

Ă€nyway, normal DVB applications are limited to C and KU band frequencies (display).
Might be possible to change, but if so, for how many users around the world???
What system on earth is this 2 GHz signal coming from???
