I have a dvb-s2 card, so i would need one of the latest versions. Progdvb 5 is a no go for me as it is dead unstable. i tried several version, but I get crashes all over the place. Even when i just change a setting in ex codecs.

Progdvb 4. That works better, but still has problems.
- The EPG does not function. It is not updated on any channel. Only when i click on the 'I' icon.
- I can't get the subtitles working on any channel. They just don't show.
- The timeshift does not function well either. It is not accurate when you switch back or forward. There is always a discrepancy of like 2-5mins.
- But, worse.. the recording function is also not accurate when you use timeshift. When i switch back to ex 13:10 and click record, it will start recording at around 13:14!!!

On top of that, i also managed to have the 4.x version crash when i start fiddle around with codecs. Sometimes it will say some message like 'can't decode channel because of codec'. When i click ok, progdvb will crash.

If i buy Progdvb and pay 25 Euro i expect a program that will work. Question: Can i be sure all these problems will get fixed in the future? And when development on 4.x will halt, can i switch freely to a (working i assume) version 5.x ?

Now ProgDVB 5 more better then 4.x and I am recomend use 5.x.
Time to time I am fix some bug int 4.x but not plan add new functions. For example not like add power EPG like in 5.x.
