Hello everyone! I am not sure whether my question was already answered, but I have spent the entire day already to find a solution to my problem. I want to use progdvb to stream all tv channels from my server pc with vista ultimate to my laptop with windows XP. I configured the prog media server and client as described on this site, but it seems like the stream never leaves my server. Are there any special network settings for vista that I must change in order to make it work? I switched off both firewalls from my server and laptop. I can take screenshots of all my settings if you want. Cheers, Lophos

You may want to start testing with a client on the server machine, excluding external networking issues this way. Does not have to be ProgDVB, to get started. May lead to helpful ideas then...

That's all from me now, as I won't ever let Vista touch any of my machines.
