The new released version6 is very good.
I tried this version for 2 hrs, so far, very stable and attractive!!
Only thing needs to pay attention is,
when installation, it's better to choose a new directory.
if you want to install to the old version5 directory to keep plugins, etc, after installation, need to delete progdvb.ini file, or the program will crash.

But as a major version change, the updates are not too many...
Hope the "Advanced User Mode" can be realized in some early v6 program..

Hello.
I'm just trying the new version and I noticed a strange thing:
sometimes when I click on one channel, the software open another one and I don't know why

When I trying to install 6.0 ProgDVB x64 on Vista64, device selection list is empty except " BDA compatible card or box" is available. Previous version works fine. (SS2) This is bug or whzt?

Settings->device list?

This is during my initial setup. Looks like listbox does not contain choice for devices. I am trying to find " Skystar 2 TV PCI" - selection what I am able to use in 32 bit version which is working *(what means that hw, drivers are in good shape) I also had checked pro version. It breaks me out later - I was able to see - device list for this version was not empty. Looks like you compilation settings for std version had cut too much.
Device list is accessible from settings later. Again list is without SS2 & ability to add it.
BTW as i understood HD is available only in pro or earlier versions? I am right?
Thks in advance

1. You must use BDA driver for x64 version of ProgDVB.
2. Yes, HD/h264 channels only in ProgDVB Pro (HD/mpeg2 you can watch in free version)

Prog,
thks a lot to supporting me.
Here is my findings
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\skynet_AMD64.sys
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\bdasyp.sys
which is Microsoft BDA Driver Support library 6.0.6001.1702
Not sure 64 bit or not and where i should look more.
Is it possible to install W32 drivers on W64?- my assumption so far was that it is applicable for application not for drivers. Looks like I am wrong.
Checked Technisat site again. Under BDA they are providing item under name SKY... They had produced newer packages. Will try in days. Not sure 64 bit or not (they are claiming about vista, but vistas are so different..)
Could you point me to some explanation? Thks in advance and sorry for taking your time.
