Hi,
I'm using Technotrend connect S2 3650 CI and progdvb 6 Test 32 bit on vista 64 bit sp1.
I have an USALS Motor.
Using latest BDA driver from technotrend (1.0.2.20 from 05.03.2008) and selecting technotrend as a device I'm able to move the motor around in the 32 bit version of progdvb test 6 (64 bit version not working!)) by playing with the positioner menu.

BUT something is wrong with the position of the motor since I'm not able to get any signal (signal and qual =0)

Is there a debug output where I can see the calculated SAT hourangle where the motor should move?
So I can check if the motor is going to this position?

Any other suggestions?
Thanks,

.

Hello prog,
OK, I understand, but therefore I'm using the 32 bit version of progDVB, and this is able to control the motor. The only thing I'm missing is an output (logfile or onother field in the positioner window) where I can see the position sent to the motor. In this way I can compare the position sent to the motor and the position the motor realy has. So I can know if there is a problem with the diseqc, or if my antenna is wrong aligned.
Thank you
PS.: Just in case you dont know this already: TT SDK -> http://www.technotrend.com/new/sdk/bda_SLA_english.pdf

Hello prog,

OK it WORKS now!
The problems where:

1.I had played with another receiver and aligned the dish for it. Switching to the TT 3650 I had to manualy realign the dish.

2.When you are in the positioner settings and you choose a sattelite, the dish is not moving, you must somehow bring the dish into a known position, before you are able to manually align the dish to see some imput level (I did this by making a scan, although there was no signal. This takes then verry much time to interrupt, after that, the dish is moved at the calculated position and then you are able to align the dish by turning it around the base until a signal is received. So the initial setup of the dish and motor is verry tricky and takes much time.

3.After that I've been able to insert the desired sattelites and scan them successfully. BUT when you switch from a station on a sattelite to onother station on another sattelite the secon channel is not displayed, until you choose another station from the second sat which is ok and switch back to the desired channel which is now also ok. This whole procedure takes much time...

So this where some points where improvement is possible.
I also noticed a blue screen caused by the TT 64 bit BDA driver, when I tried to kill progdvb, when it was frozen, but this looks like a TT problem.

Thank you for this nice program, I'll try now the prof. version...
