Missing HD channels 1W

When i used the trial PRO version, i got all the HD channesl included in my subscription. When trial was over, i was using the free version for a period, 1-2 months, before i purchased my lisence to the pro version. Now, it seems like half of my HD channels is gone, and i can't find them again on a channel search.

Channels are on 1W. (Thor/Intelasat)

Missing channels: Discovery HD, eurosport HD , The History Channel HD, Silver HD and TVNorge HD. I get all channels in non-hd.

I do get Canal+ Film/Sport HD, National Geo HD, Voom HD

I know that HD chans require better signal, but i've checked, and my sattelite has not moved in position, and i've re-tuned it for best signals.

Any ideas? I have not upgraded any drivers for my FireDTV s2 card since i used the trial version. I've tried both latest v.5 and new v.6 version of progdvb.

How can i update the transponders? I have 4 transponders in the list with the [s2] behind. One of them doesnt find anything on search. Another seems to find Historychannel HD and Silver HD, but doesnt recognise them as tv channels, but data channels or something? (orange with a cicle in) And there is no picture....

I'd also like to know how you update your transponders?

Are there any up to date channel lists that can be loaded into ProgDVB?

Thanks..

Do you have level/qualiry for example on 11325 ? It is not S2 transponder.

Here is the result:
Image

I have 4 [s2] transponders:

11421 = signal about 90%
Canal+ FILM HD
Canal+ SPORT HD
SVT HD

11434 = singal about 90%
NAT GEO HD
VOOM HD

12015 = singal 100%
<NO CHANNELS>

12130 = signal 100%
<NO CHANNELS>

If i search several times at those transponders with no channels, i sometimes get "noname 4201, noname 4202" etc.

Yes, but may be current version ProgDVB (or FireDTV driver) request correct pilot or rolloff parameters.

The Driver for FireDTV is the same as i've always used. There has been no recent updates for it.

I really dont understand this. I tried one of the old versions of progdvb too, but doesnt work to get back all the HD channels.

I would like to know if there is anyone else out there with 1w channels who get all HD channels, and mabye could send me the channellist...

I did some searching, and i found this page:

http://www.lyngsat.com/hd/thor5.html

If you look at that page, you can se the first table has the exact 5 channels i get to work, and in the other list, that is the channels i'm missing (except some channels are in both tables).

Now, what is the different between those two? And why are they listed in two tables. The first is table has "T1" under "Beam", the other has "T2", what does this mean?

Could this info be useful somehow?

These are transponder footprints, maps of field strength versus location.
For Norway this should not matter at all, as the whole country is within the area of maximum strength.

So there must be another reason.
100% L + 100% Q, this looks a bit strange to me.
Possible driver issues?
Overdrive, perhaps due to far oversized dish?
LOF offset? Try to detune manually, 1 MHz steps, up to +/- 5 MHz. If helpful, don't store, correct the LOF for that amount, into the opposite direction, scan again.
