How to obtain the level and quality as flow data

Hi,
I would like to obtain the level and the quality of the signal as flow data. I mean, with progDVB I can see the bars of these parameters, but what I want is to extract these parameters as flow data (like numbers), and use them for a program I have to programme. The problem is that I don't know how to reach.
