i can record but cant watch live

i have a nvidia geforce 9500
and have a trial of prodvb pro
i have ac3 filter as audio codec and ffdshow decoder as video codec
i can get sound out but no live picture however when i record as .ts file i have hd video and sound

what am i doing wrong?

try change video render or video codec in settings->Options->Video

still nothing i have windows vista is that whats the problem? i tried all video renderers and all i have is a grey screen but all other channels work no problem

try start ProgDVB\Filters\register.cmd and select elecard codec in settings->Options->Video

Ok that worked but playback is very slow on the live broadcast i have an intel core duo processor with asus nvidia 1gb graphics card and 8gb of ram so i dont know what could be wrong?

Hm. This is good PC, CPU load must be <50%.

cpu usage is very high 100 percent apparently and i start recording hd and all goes fine until a long time into the recording process i get a program crash here is the exact error...

Try CoreAVC or CyberLink video codecs.

ok i just tried the cyberlink decoder and it works flawlessly with less than 50 percent cpu usage :D now im happy... is it possible to pick up itv HD?
