Garbage chars in Astra 28.2 UK subtitles

Hi all,

On ProgDVB 6.04(.05) I have an issue with subtitles.
I have found a similar topic here:
viewtopic.php?t=2482

On satellite channels BBC / CH4 / FIVE / ITV on Astra 28.2° East Teletext subtitles (page 888) are displayed with a couple of strange characters on each line.

Just a few examples:

I have tried to change the font in the skin but same result (the odd chars are not shown decoding the TS file into srt file).

TXT subtitles of other channels such as RAI at 13° are displayed correctly.

Is there a reason for this and a solution?
I am not able to compare the TXT sub standards between those UK channels at 28.2° east and channels at 13° east.

Additional info:
- no issue on ProgDVB 4.72.3 on the same channels
- on ProgDVB 6.04(.05) subtitles displayed in the Teletext window are correct (no extra characters).
- HW is ss2.

Thank you!

Bye.

Does this happen to me only?

Does anyone know if there is a way to remve those symbols by changing some settings?

Thank you.

Best regards.

Thank you for fixing this issue!
I have just verified that those characters are no more present on SW ProgDVB 6.04.06.
Unfortunately this fix introduced a new issue (I think): solid pink and blue backgrounds for the subtitles.
I tried to remove it by making it transparent in a new skin (Skin Editor) but it looks like even if
the skin reports a transparent background, the setting is discarded by ProgDVB.
Can you please have a look?
A couple of screenshots are attached.

On previous releases the background was transparent.

Thank you for your attention.

Kind regards,
