i had a satellite card twinhan 1027 got it 3 days ago and with its cd there was a digital tv software and the prog version 6.04.01 standard edition
the remote work perfectly with digital tv software but it is so bad an boring so i work on progdvb BUT
the remote doesn't work perfect with progDVB only i can change channels but the other important functions doesn't work as i cannt controle the sound volume or fullscreen cannt turn on and off the progdvb no recording and many other functions doesn't work but those are the functions that i'm really need
and the problem here is when i go to settings then controles and choose the remote and learn. the window appear but no respone i press on my remote and nothing happen at all so i cannt edit the remote and i dont know what is the problem
plz any one help me in that

I don't have that device to test but an idea:

Most remotes of such devices in fact aren't remote controls but emulated IR keyboards (and suitable receiver), or to use Microsoft nomenclature, HID.
If so, they act as a special keyboard, and the controls have to be defined as keyboard controls, not remote controls.

The remote control section of ProgDVB is NOT made for computer keyboard like Human Interface Devices, but for the SkyStar1 / WinTV Nexus integrated IR system, which in fact acts as a TV remote, not a keyboard.

Try use settings->Controls->HID
