receiving stream from local network

Hello first post here
Hi can anyone help me I am have been trying using progDVB to watch a local stream on my internal network 192.168.x.x:3xxxx which I can watch using VLC but not with ProgDVB it is from a dreambox
Is anyone knowledgeable more than me to give me some guidance the main reason for using ProgDVB is so I can theoretically decode the NDS streams of which I pay a valid sub to as the dream wont do it and If I can get this stage working I will be happy to pay for the ProgDVB package / software
