Hi all,

First of all, this problem might not be a progdvb coding problem nor ati drivers problem.

Here's the situation:

Using Intel quad core, asus mobo and ati 4870 x2. My DVB-T card is just, simple USB(Reddo DVB-T, costs 25 euros) based connected to external antenna. Everything works fine with progdvb. I tried many other DVB viewers, they crashed within 10-15 minutes. For some reason ProgDVB STD works like a charm. Dunno why, compared to for example dvbviewer.

Seems that dvbviewer cant handle signal errors better than ProgDVB. Because of that, i really consider to purchase ProgDVB lincense. Althought, standard version works fine just fine for me, i DO like to support ProgDVB. Amazing piece of code, really.

But when i start ProgDVB, according to GPU-Z, GPU utilization is 12% and both x2 ati(amd) fans are loudy. However, when starting catalyst control center when ProgDVB is runningn(along with gpu-z), GPU utilization drops to 0-2 % and gfx card fans arent that noisy.

Yes, tried several rendering engines(cyberlink, ligos, intervideo, etc), no success.

Interesting problem, i need to do this everytime i start ProgDVB.

You must check DXVA settings of video codec.
