hi,
i installed the newest version of prog dvb on my two pcs. i can see the tv pic and can set up my server settings. i see that there is traffic like on this image http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/9825/mslb5.jpg , but its not possible that the other pc connect with prog media client to the server. i dont know what is wrong i also tried a lot of other versions of prog dvb. the sever ip is correct, also the port and protocol. admin and control passwords are empty. format is transport stream. the status at the server is alwasy 0 clients connected. i also deactivated the firewalls on all pcs. perhaps the problem is my switch or something like that?

if i connect with firefox to the server i can download a file. address is http://192.168.13.5:10999 on port 11000 i can see the status.

Noone has an idea? is there a step by step instruction how to set up a server and connect with a client to this server?

perhaps my switch is the problem? i think so, because, i know that some switches can not be used if you like to stream with a media server (e.g. tonkey media server) to your ps3. but i also know that to stream to my ps3 is possible with my switch. but perhaps there is an other similarly requirement?

At first I am recomend install last version of ProgDVB on client and server.

thats what i did first. after this i tried a lot of older versions....

sometimes i see traffic on the client window, but after i pressed "apply" there is no traffic again. i also dont know why there is traffic, on server side i dont see that there is a client connected.

perhaps my about-face is the problem? i anticipate so, because, i apperceive that some switches can not be acclimated if you like to beck with a media server (e.g. tonkey media server) to your ps3. but i aswell apperceive that to beck to my ps3 is accessible with my switch. but conceivably there is an added analogously requirement
