Missing some Channels

Hi!

First of all: Thanks to the Devlopers for this great program!

Finally, i got my WinTV-HVR 930c working with ProgDVB on a Windows 7 Machine...
BUT: I am missing some of the DVB-C Channels - I know they are available - with another Stick/Program i found them, and they are working...
The Signal is quite strong (~90% on all available channels, quality 90-100%).

Is it possible, to run an "extended Search" for Channels I am missing? How does that "Scan Transponder" work/what is this option for?

I am using ProgDVB 6.23, on Windows 7 with an Hauppauge! WinTV-HVR 930c in Munich.

With another software, that would show the stations / transponders missing, try to find out the full transponder specifications for those, and write those down.
Then try to scan exactly those manually in ProgDVB. Also try to tune in with a little frequency offset, a few 100 kHz up or down.

On some cable services, there may be a few non-standard transponders, for example to avoid local interference from air port or military or terrestrial TV services. Frequencies may then be shifted, data rates changed.
In such cases, small software or hardware differences may decide on getting a lock or not, on a standard full search with default transponder tables.

Thanks Juergen,

How can I perform that manual scan? I did not find any Information about that - neither in the Forum, nor on the Website.

If that "Scan Transponder"-Option is what I should be looking for: What Options should I use for Polarisation, Symbol Rate, Modulation,... - Unfortunately the other Receiver I am using does not give me a lot of information about the Transponder-Options.

thanks in advance

Hit channel properties (or similar) on that box. You should normally find basic data this way.
Else you may as well search the web site of your cable provider.

Yes agree already reported this bug..
actually only way to do is to scan TP by TP via lyngsat frequencie until Prog fix that bug on newer version.
