First thanks for making this great program, i remember it from the bigining of ss2 times here in croatia.
I have gibabyte gt-p8000 card ( dvbt + analog + composite & svideo in)
Now the software i got with the card works as expected, but picture qualiti is quite bad. I tried progdvb as an alternative, dvb works greath ( using my ati codecs that came with my drivers for my radeon hd4350, picture is like 5 times bether... Startup time( from clicking the icon to picture of last watched program) is much faster, like 300%. Now the problem, i don't really care about analog reception, but i need the composite in to work. Is there a way to make it work with prog dvb...
thx for help in advance.
My cupu:
intel celeron 2.56ghz oc:3ghz
radeon hd4350 512mb
1gb ddr2 apacer
gigabyte gt-p8000
win7

Originally ProgDVB only is software for DVB tuners.
To use an analog input, you may have to use the analog tuner device.
(If not with the original software) it may be impossible to use the analog components, as long as the DVB part is activated, as they may share some pieces of hardware / driver.

What exactly does not work there?
Suppose no audio and video. But do you get good level and quality readings? Do you get stations scanned in? If yes, would a recording lead to a file of noticeable and rising size? Would that play somewhere else in, like WMP or VLC? ...
As usual, details rule...

So the next steps should be:
- record from both the video in and analogue tuner with the original software, try to play both (externally), to find out more on the stream data and codecs used on playback
Perhaps this gives relevant details, to find out, why ProgDVB does not success on those.
- check DVB-T channel properties of a few important stations in ProgDVB, write down transponder data and stream IDs used, try to use exactly those in the original software
Perhaps this may help on fixing the original soft DVB-T issues.
