Using windows7 and Technotrend 3650Ci on a MSI GD65 with i7

After successfully installing Progdvb I was able to watch channels both in DVB-S and DVB-S2. I had 4 satellites installed, suddenly picture black/ audio gone. AFter many hours trying all codece/renderer combinations I reinstalled the whole W7. Again picture etc (on Astra 28E) all fine, also cccam worked for 3 days since install.

HOWEVER, after scanning Hotbird yesterday (yes there was a signal on my motorised 2 meter) again I could not get any video output anymore...the same old story.

Progdvb support please help me as I am getting desparate. Looks like to codec is not accessible or whatever. This time it is clear I did not change ANYTHING in the setup, it is a pristine set up anyway (PowerDVD 9 is installed). All I did was a channel search...and now black picture.

Any help much appreciated!

Of course, we are only talking on free-to-air channels now.

Do you still get good level and quality readings?

If yes, either some channel database corruption or codec / renderer issues should be the cause. Try to record, to specify. File size = 0 --> wrong stream, IDs or alike. File size rising as normal --> codec related.

If not, you may have some kind of LNB related trouble, like if your LOF(s) deviate a bit to much. Try to adjust the LOF (in use) for 1 or 2 MHz up or down.
