Well, I´m trying the share version ProgDVB v6.31.4, but when I try to set up Services --> Schedules, there are no option to make it repeatly everyday the same time ! BEcause when the task ends it goes away from the scheduler !
Anyone knows if the paied version have this option? There are some solution for this problem?
Example:
I want to record EVERYDAY : from 06:00pm to 07:00pm and from 09:00 pm to 10:30 pm !!!
Thank you

I found a tricky way!
In the PRogdvb folder there is a file called "scheduder.dat", this file stores the data until it is executed...
So for example, if you need to record EVERYDAY in the same time, you program it to the first day like ie
01/01/2010 - 08:00 - 09:00 - Warner
01/01/2010 - 10:00 - 11:00 - SBS
So, you go to the scheduler.dat make a copy called "model.dat"
So you open it in a text editor, find the "01/01/2010" and changes ALL for the new date .... save...
The next day you just copy the model.dat to the same folder and rename it to scheduler.dat
Easy hum ?

Is the everyday Recording now possible?
That would be great.
If it's not possible, when will the everyday shedule comming??
We're looking for a new Encoding Software, for WebTV Broadcasting.

Now you can use external scheduler. For example MS scheduler.

I had tried it, ProgDVB starts.
But i want to shedule the recording.
Can you give me a explanation how i can get that work with MS sheduler.
And sometimes when i start ProgDVB with MS Sheduler, ProgDVB crash and I only see a white window...
One short off Topic Question by the way, is a Support for Server 2003 or 2008 planed?
greetz and Thanks

Think command line style...
Possible arguments are to be found under Settings --> Controls.
One argument per line.
Perhaps allow around 5 or 10 seconds between setting a channel and starting as recording.

Thanks, I will try it.
When my Workstation is locked, and a sheduled recording should start. ProgDVB chrash and didn't record. Do you know what could be the reason? That would help a lot.
And is a ProgDVB Support for Windows Server 2k3 or 2k8 planed?

1. ProgDVB shold wold work in all modern win32/win64 OS. But It depended from drivers.
2. I am not good test of ProgDVB in this mode (without use login). I hope more test and debug in near future.

A mode where we can use ProgDVB, without a User that is logged on would be intresting.
We start now some tests over MS Sheduler and command line scripts.
