In most cases, this should work by just installing the new version over the existing one.
To be on the safe side, you may make a full copy of the whole ProgDVB folder structure into another place (probably without the default record folder, if in use).
If anything goes wrong, copy back, what's necessary, like the channels subfolder or any .ini file.

Basically, his goes for any version of ProgDVB, not just the Pro.
