Hello Guys,

I have two PC's with ProgDVB Pro 6.43.1.
One have an Hauppauge Nova USB stick, the other an Hauppauge PCI Nova DT (Dual Tuner).

No sound with HD Channels (all free) on both PC. The analog channels provide sounds
Tried to change renderer but no change.

Have someone an issue concerning this problem ?

Hi,

After many tests. The probem appears only on certain HD channels (french TV).
The cause is that HD French TV (TF1 HD, France2 HD, M6HD) have changed from Dolby Digital (AC3) to Dolby Digital +.
I saw that many people had the problem on TV, PC Player, ... (the tuner isn't in cause)
They resolve it by an update furnished by the TV manufacturer or the PC Player Editor.
A other solution (not tested yet) is to deactivate DTS and Dolby Digital (where in ProgDVB ?)

Have you a solution (codec ?) to run ProgDVB with Dolby Digital Plus ?

Found a patch (eac3) with following files :

TsReader.ax / TSWriter.ax / TVLibrary.dll

It seems working with MediaPortal, but I don't know how to install it (regsvr32) to try to watch if this can work with ProgDVB
I have note MediaPortal and I want to keep DVBProg
