Anyone had any luck making rotor move , with SS2 HD (PCI) ?

Tried both USALS and Memory modes.

I use ProgDVB Pro v6.43.02

Check settings->Device list. Must selected azurewave.

When initial setuping i had put it in Auto , and then it did it (as should) Azurewave/Twinhan.

Also i tried repeat commands 4 times , and 400msec , still not working.

Have you had the rotor working with any version of ProgDVB? I have just bought a Skystar HD 2 and I am having the same problem but don't know if it is ProgDVB or a driver issue.

Diseq device can not work with your pc tuner. For example cable too long.

Cable is only five meters long and works fine with SkyStar 1 card but I get no movement when I try SkyStar 2 HD. (different drivers of course).

I am not have problem with my motor and ss2 HD2. (azurewave selected)

Are there any drivers which are better than the ones which come with the card? (1.1.1.502)

ps: I am use positioner that way not request power from DVB device for motor.

Thank you for your help but I still can not get it to work, maybe it is a faulty card. Skaystar 1 works fine.

Just out of interest which card would you recommend for HD and use with a rotor?

No problem here with SG2100 and SS HD2. Do you have power supply cable connected to SS HD2?

I am not use power from tuner for motor. Work over positioner.

I think it must be a problem with the card as I have now inserted a Stab rotor controller in line and it won't move the dish either. So it looks like the card is not providing enough current for both the LNB and the rotor even with the extra power lead is plugged in.

OK I now have another new Skystar HD 2 card and it's still the same as the old one, no rotor movement. I have tried disconnecting the LNB to lower the current drawn from the card and still no movement. I know it's not the rotor as it works every time with my old Skystar 1 card. Anybody have any ideas?

I have two brand new Skystar HD 2 cards one came direct from Germany and the other from a seller in the UK, both of which don't work with rotors. I'm not sure if the new cards are a different revision but they have a few components missing when comparing them to pictures of the same card off the internet. The choke L4 is missing and a few other bits around the LNBP21 supply and control IC.
Anyway I will give TechniSat a ring and see if they can give any explanation why the rotor may not be working.
