Cannot open stream with ProgDVB client or other client SW

Hi Specialists,
i'm ptetty sure i entered all parameters (IP adress, port#) correctly to the ProgDVB server and also the client. however i get only a black screen and no sound. could this be a codec issue? also VLC cannot open the stream.
i'm looking forward to any input!
