Time shift and audio/video sync

Hi!
I've been using progdvb free for a time now and there is a bug I've been noticing for a long time, at least a year.
My ProgDVB time shift buffer is configured to use 1024Mb of memory and whenever I shift back to any position, the audio and video start getting out of sync, sometimes up to several seconds, making the television unwatchable.
Has this error been reported previously? (couldn't find any match on the forum)
Do I need to send more feedback?
