Hey Prog

i have a question

my normal cpu usage is 5-10%
when i watch in timeshift my cpu usage is constantly 30%. is this a bug?

i use ProgDVB v6.73.3 x32

What demux you use?

Demultiplexer: Microsoft

Woow i test now Demultiplexer: Prog and my cpu usage is now alltime 0-5%. timeshift is 0-5% too

make Demultiplexer: Prog as default settings in the next ProgDVB version

Please test last prerelease.

he cant put prog demux default one, because it has some real bugs.( use it few weeks and you will see problems)
for me, elecard is best along with cyberlink codecs.
microsoft demux give me desincronization between audio and video.

with prog mux, i have 2-5% of an quad core 3.2ghz on SD, and 8-15% of it on HD premium chs.
this on an monster cpu with 12mb cache. Even if i up my cpu to 4Ghz, i still have 10% usage on hd in progdvb.
In dvbviewer, i have 0-2% on all channels, premium or not.

what should i test there? u fix there demux: microsoft ? for me progdvb ist working almost perfect now. only sheduler (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7027 ) is still not working and i cant join 2-3 channels -> always black screen and no sound.

i saw dvbviewer at my friends computer, he has some bugs too. i think every programm has strengthen and weaken. there is no perfect programm

CPU load more depended from codecs and video renderer.

ps: Do you have any problems with Prog Demux + Prog Audio renderer + Custom EVR?

i dont use Custom EVR becuase it has bad colour. i use now demux: Prog and the settings at the screenshots. i dont have problems at this time. but reeven say " ( use it few weeks and you will see problems)" so lets see^^

which Prog Audio renderer do you mean?

In version 6.73.3.2 my cpu usage is 0-10% (SD channels) in normal and timeshift mode at demux: microsoft. demux: prog is same

FullHD channels are 15-20% cpu usage (video renderer: EVR custom presenter). Maybe 15-20% is still a little high

FullHD channels are 30-40% cpu usage (video renderer: vmr-9 renderless).
