HE-AACv2 - mono / stereo

Hello all,
I recently switched to the free version of ProgDVB and am very happy about it.
I have one small question, though.
The audio codec used in DVB-T broadcasts in here is HE-AACv2, and while I set the program to use a directshow filter I know is capable of decoding the audio in stereo correctly, and I see that the filter is being used (the .ax is loaded in Process Explorer), the OSD displays the audio signal as 1 channel only.
Should I be worry about it or is the channel information being retrieved via some internal filter that does not detect the stream correctly?
