Sound preceeds picture

I hunted in the forum but couldn't find a hit on this.

progDVB Version 4.80.1
Skystar 1 card (premium 2100-C)
No graphs selected in Directshow settings (entries blank).
Sound output from Skystar1 connected to line-in on mobo (ASUS SLI premium, NForce 4 chipset - AC3 sound onboard).
Win XP SP2 plus service.
CPU runs at about 10 percent when viewing.
Sound synch in other DVB apps is fine.
In progdvb ithe sound preceeds the picture by some margin - not a 'slight lip synch issue'. Looks like at least a second - and makes picture unwatchable.
If I record to an mpg file and playback sound synch is fine.

Have scratched around and played with settings but am stumped.

Any clues please ?

Hi ,

Hard or Softmode ?
CPU runs at about 10 percent when viewing.
sounds like softmode...in device options check ´audio over filter´ or disable Line in of your sound card...

With the card you use you must have this option in device options...so maybe upgrade to 4.82 ...

Method to get sound from a TT 2100-DVBC premium card is to connect to line-in - according to TT folks. But will try with the disconnect.

Installed 4.82. Now my device option pop up matches yours !!!

unplugging line-in cures sound issue also.

many thanks.

Now to get it working in hardmode !
