Channel list lock

I edit my channel list just the way I want it. The next time I start the program the channel list has added channels that I had just deleted. How do I lock the channel list to keep it from making changes on its own?

create a new and empty channel list and set it in properties to ´favorites´...then copy&paste that channels you want from your ´normal´ list to your ´favorites´ list...
