Skystar2 device not started

Hi, im using ss2 and mytheatre it's work but i try to use progdvb it's give me Skystar2 device not started and can't even begain to configure progdvb if anyone has a suggestions please.

Whats the problem ...?
go in device list and start the device by hand...
btw. some my theatre versions don“t close proper when you stop it...maybe this blocks the card...
Running fine here with technisat skystar 2 rev. 2.3 and driver 4.40....

reinstall drivers (best is 4.40)...make a complete install of original driver and software....after this stop the data application...then progdvb must work...

You may even want to restart your machine after such changes
But before doing so, look for your autostart configuration, to avoid having your card kept busy by any other application.

i`ve done all those things you mentioned but no luck.. if someone can add me on msn (

if i re-install windows will my card start working again? is it true that with the error code 10 the card is damaged and that i have to buy a new one?

Installing all that crap, from the CD you got, will solve the problem.
If you don't have the CD, the pack is also available on TechniSat's homepage.
