Hello,
I'm trying to use ProgTV for Android with the m3u file from my internet provider.
In the m3u file, i have this address for a channel :
rtsp://mafreebox.freebox.fr/fbxtv_pub/stream?namespace=1&service=201
But I have always an error message "Server error" with ProgTV.
Could you tell me if ProgTV for Android is compatible with my provider and rtsp address? If yes, what do I need to do?
Thank you.
Re: RTSP freebox with ProgTV for Android
#2Try disable or enable ProgDVB Engine in options. But RSTP not best protocol for ProgTV...
Re: RTSP freebox with ProgTV for Android
#3Unfortunately, I already tried to disable ProgDVB Engine without success.
Could it be a vidéo codec problem?
The app uses the codecs installed on the Android device? Maybe I need to install codecs?

Re: RTSP freebox with ProgTV for Android
#6Without "engine" playback total depended from device. I am not have any tools for change that. Crash in Engine in http not typical. But bigest problem is AC3 format of audio. very commercial format and I am not have license. May be this channel have other audio stream?
ps: try enable FFD for h264 channel. Still crash?

Re: RTSP freebox with ProgTV for Android
#7No, with FFD, no crash but the video quality is not very good.
Re: RTSP freebox with ProgTV for Android
#8Just to confirm that crashes are due to AC3 format of audio.
It would be great to be able to choose a different video player like VLC or MX Player in options.
