Hi
New to this software and I need some help

Some years now I have use ARGUS TV (it did have another name before that)
Everything was fine until I did have to move to another place and I have to buy a new TV card with cardreader that can
decode my channel that I subscribe (My old place did have free cable tv)
Now I did have problem to use ARGUS TV so I was trying to find another program to recording my TV shows.

I have try a little with ProgDVB and I can see all the channel I have on the screen but I can't find any good codec or settings to recording my TV
channel as good as possible.

When I did use the default codec for video (I think it was Mpeg4 Decoder DMO) it does recording but I can't play it in VLC or other softare.
Then I trying "CyberLink Video Decoder (PDVD9)" but then it just get some error I think, it just recording some kb of the show.

So I wonder what codec does you use to recording TV channel?

I have read that someone use Nivida but I think it was to watch the program, not recording and I have AMD anyway and not Nivida.

ProgDVB not use any codecs for recording. Only for WMV, but for WMV only MS codecs from win.
