Hi everybody, the problem that I'm facing, as said in the title, is that I get no sound in the timeshift when the codec used by the channel is AC3.

Initially I had no sound whatever was the codec used, then changing the audio render in Options - Audio - Codec for both the default value and AC3, and setting it to "System", I've been able to get the sound in the timeshift with mpeg codec. I've also tried using WASAPI but it caused problems even in the normal, "live" view, without using the timeshift.

The decoder that I'm using now for the AC3 codec is the LAV Audio Decoder, but I've tried switching it with other decoders and it hasn't fixed the problem.

Do you try AC3filter?

These are the only decoders which I'm seeing through ProgDVB:


No AC3filter, even if it is installed on the PC.

Yes I installed it before posting my previous reply but I was still on the LAV Audio Decoder. Now I'm on the Microsoft DTV-DVD Audio Decoder and it seems that I'm now getting the audio. I'll post about eventual changes.

It would be good to have a automatic installation of AC3filter during the ProgDVB installation, in order to avoid these problems (I'm guessing it doesn't happen now since I've had to do it manually).
