Is it startup crash?

Newest drivers for your dvb-card may help. I downloaded latest drivers for my SS2 (ver. 4.4.1) and now ProgDVB_PRO_5.12 works and exits correctly.

But I still have problems with this version of ProgDVB. Every 10-20 seconds video thread stops for a while (0.5 sec) and continues. I even replaced Elecard filter for an old one (that was in ProgDVB_4.22) but it didn't help. When I used ProgDVB_4.22 there was no such problem. Must also say that ProgDVB_4.77 also had that problem. Only old versions worked brilliantly.

Yes, it is a startup bug. And It also appear with v5.12.9 see below.

balabamaka, I already have the ss2 driver 4.4.1 and this bug has nothing to to with it as it is a null pointer assignement in the progdvb code.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
