I have 2 providers Dish and Bell and will try to make this understandable, I dont't know whether its a setting in "Prog" or in Windows/Let say I start up "Prog" open button 6.8 and load 6 channels, I then open Bell and load 6 channels, and finish with button echo7 and load six channels, Now I have my remote s/u so that the red button takes me back thru all the channels I have just loaded. I have the green button s/u to foward me ahead to the last channel I loaded on echo7, note I leave the button on echo7 because I know any channels I watch at night will be on there So now I have a total of 24 channels loaded that I can fwd back and forth to without moving from my chair. that being said it is now ninght and one of my shows comes on I don't have it loaded so I punch it in because its on echo7 if then back channel to the start of 110 and my fisrt channel I started with has gone it was overwritten by the echo7 channel so if i fwd to the channel I just punched in and add another then the nextchannel on 110 is overwritten, what I would like to know is how to increase the amount "Prog will hold?? or is it in windows , I know this is long and probably boring but its bugging me why only 24 why not 50 and if so HOW!!!!! Ist post doozy huh???

This is NOT understandable for non-americans, at all...
Never heard of a "button 6.8" or anything similar...
However, if you want to find out, if it's a ProgDVB issue, or more a general one, compare the behaviour with another DVB application, perhaps first of with all the one, that came with your device.
BTW, which one???
Details rule.
Line feed (~enter key) would even help us on reading.
Structurize your thoughts, please.

This must be something strictly american specific...
I don't have any trouble like this here, with four positions, some thousands of stations.
So, to get some closer to the source of your problem, perhaps you have to do some research on your own and post results.
If one station overwrites another, please try and find out, if they f.e. share the same transponder frequency and ID, and / or SID and alike.
Still I can't find satellite buttons here, just have tabs for the positions on the channel list panel. Means, one table per satellite configured here.
But you could also have one channel list for all, f.e. grouped by satellite or alike.
Perhaps you should tell us more on that channel list config of yours.
You can change the channel list's properties without losing anything.
So perhaps specify by position, group by transponder, to find out, which transponders or whatever else things are happening on, as systematical as possible.
Also no need, to let all "lost" delete after a full scan.
