Hello

I`ve just installed the last version of the progdvb but when I ran it, a message shows to me that says: "Either install the Elecard H.264\AVC decoder package, or if you would like to use a diffrent H.264\AVC decoder" I pressed OK, but when I choose any of the channels it shows that there is a good signal but nor video or audio are shown.

I`ve installed the decoder package that the message asked me to from this link:
http://www.elecard.com/products/product ... ogdvb-avc/

But also it did not work.

the old versions are working very well.

can anyone help me

thanks

.

What type of channel you use?

PS: Install ac3filter if you have AC3 channels.

Having a Problem with H.264\AVC

Actually - I'm new to progdvb (free edition) - but I'm having a similar problem with v6 ... it finds all the std uk dvb channels ... but whichever TV one I select (eg bbc1,2,channel4,five etc) it says "Either install the Elecard H.264\AVC decoder package, or if you would like to use a diffrent H.264\AVC decoder"... even though I didn't think these were H.264\AVC channels. Progdvb then becomes unstable - either hanging or crashing.
(also If I select a radio chanel with good signal - I get no audio sound.)

Probably not related - but I then installed arcsoft totalmedia and this worked fine (though very bloated :() ... I then tried progdvb again and it again complained of H.264\AVC channels - and crashed again after I tried modifying settings to point to some of the arcsoft codecs.

Any ideas... should I need to install/register any additional codecs to see standrd dvb tv channels or listen to radio?

1. ProgDVB std total not support h264 channels. Only ProgDVB Pro.
2. Can you record sample of radio and TV transponder (Service->Pid Recorder -> all pids) and put on http/ftp/rapidshare.com?

I am using the free version... but the channel I am trying to see is BBC one in the UK... (but same result for all other freeview TV channels)...
If I look at channel protperties it has h264 not ticked... yet when I try to open channel it gives the error msg "install the Elecard H.264\AVC decoder package .... etc"
?
thanks for any help?

Just black picture! And with any codec and I used, it still get my the same error window:

"Either install the Elecard H.264\AVC decoder package, or if you would like to use a diffrent H.264\AVC decoder"

The problem is that i've got the Progdvb Pro version (registered - ok)
I am using a Nexus card at softmode (but to my other 2 computers works Perfect) I don't know what's the problem with this one!!

I had install K-lite codec Mega pack (just like my other computers) I have install all the Elecard pack but still the same problem!!

"Either install the Elecard H.264\AVC decoder package, or if you would like to use a diffrent H.264\AVC decoder"

Does anyone has any idea?
(This is a fresh install of Windows Vista ult.32 for more see my third computer)
