i have 8 GB ram, win x64 and i'm using the 32 bit version - what is the max possible value for the time shift buffer? each 32 bit process should be able to use 2 GB but i can not assign more then 1200 MB, as i get an error message. why?

Limit of OS. Because impossible take more 700mb by one piece. Use x64 version for use unlimited size.

so just for the record:

solution is: use a ram disk and set progdvb to keep the time shift data in a file on a ram disk. works perfect :)
