Problem playing h264 channels with cyberlink codec

#1
hello everybody,
recently I bought a ati radeon HD 3850 agp to have hardware accelerated dvb-S2 content in h264.
The cyberlink codec provided with my DVB-S2 card works but unfortunately every sometime come out some unsharped little rectangles on the image and sometime the video playback stop on these corrupted image but the audio still on.
Does anybody have any idea on what these problem could be?

I have some more details:
I see these problems using cyberlink and nero codec on channels Astra Hd and Anixe Hd (on Astra 19° E). But if I use coreavc all is good.
On Arte HD on astra 19° E all is good using also cybelink and HW acceleration (just some colored unshaped rectangle every long time but no freeze).
Plese note all these challes should be free to air channels

How are your level and quality readings?

How are your CPU load and memory usage then?
How much RAM do you have (total / free)?
You must avoid swap file usage, of course, as this is far to slow for h.264

Perhaps put all relevant details on your system into your signature

Thak you Juergen :)

Level and quality are above 90%
Juergen wrote:How are your CPU load and memory usage then?
With Cyberlink HW acceleration cpu load is between 11-30%.
Memory usage is under the 900MB
Juergen wrote:How much RAM do you have (total / free)?
I have 1 GB of RAM and the free ram is about 100MB.
But the system can manage 2 GB of total memory (1GB from the Hdd)

I' ll try

I've tried disabling swap file.
Astra HD channel on Astra 19°E is unviewable
Anixe Hd after some time makes the rectangles and video go into a some kind of 2 sec loop
Arte Hd is the only stabble channel but also with swap file on.
Perhaps Astra HD and Anixe Hd are test channels and they are just making their tests.
The other thing is that on Arte Hd I have a memory usage at about 800 MB but viewing Astra Hd and Anixe HD I have a memory usabe of 940 MB

Disabling swap file is NOT recommended.

Instead you should try to avoid it being used to much.

Only ~ 10% or free RAM is critically low.

So clean up and slim down your Windows.
Find out about memory use, then start to disable all unnecessary application autostarts.
You don't really need tons of applications being loaded at boot time.

Disable timeshift, or set it's buffer to a minimum. If having a second physical HDD, set timeshift to file and place that there on.

Add more RAM.

Don't use VGA cards with turbo memory / shared memory, go for one with a nice amount of real VGA RAM. Else read your mainboard's manual for possible Dual Channel memory use.
