Hi guys..i have been using progdvb now for 3 years been like a charm..
anyway this is my problem..after reinstalling win xp..prog dvb cant find alot of channels on the arab sat badr 3/4 every thing was working fine
every time i can for those channels i get no signal found out of over than 100 channels i got only 50..no matter what i do manually or automatic nothing changes..i have upgraded to the newest driver used dvb dream program but still the same..No signal found..i searched for the freqs and they are the same...its just either my skysat card or something else is wrong any help plz!!!btw arabsat is badr 3/4/6 those channels that i cant get are from badr 6 i guess

Are there transponders missing, that should work, according to listings on satcodx.com or lyngsat.com ?
If so, is there something in common for those, or most of those, like e.g. all missing are horizontal, or all above a specific frequency or anything like that?

What DVB hardware and driver, exactly?
Just one LNB or more?
How are level and quality on the working transponders?

transponders are there..they arnt missing..just last month i was able to watch those channels as for my LNB i use only 1 and the signal quality wasnt bad either since iam in europe i get like with is ok my dvb hardware is technisat skystar2 drivers are 4.4.3 i had 4.4.5 but rolled them back but no use i even tried the older once also no use do i need to upgrade anything else?

But no stations on some transponders, or just some station missing on many transponders, or several stations just come in as "noname..." or data channels?

BTW, also try to structurize not just thoughts, but words into sentences and paragraphs as well.
This really helps on talking technical and logical issues.

sorry for my typing..i guess iam in rush, as you said those transponders
arnet working,its not just some channels of some transponders cant be scanned.
example: last month i was able to watch abu dabi sport channel
its 11804 h 27500 now no matter what i do i cant scan it and cant get the signal
and yes the transponder is there in the list and the channel frequency didnt change same goes for alot of other channels ..but lest say MBC channles work fine they are 11919 h 27500
aljazeera sport channel works fine12034 h 27500.

Try to vary the LOF (in use) a bit, in 1 MHz steps up to +/- 5 MHz.
Retrigger the station to perform changes.
And watch level and quality along with this.
Find the optimal settings.
Post values and results.

Sometimes LNBs' oscillators are drifting away a little bit after some time of use. Others get offsets from temperature changes.
