Hi @ all,
I am using the latest ProgDVB Version 6.06.5 along with my Technisat CableStar 2 TV PCI Card for DVB-C.
If I do a "Channel Search", ProgDVB won't find any Channels, but if I do a "Scan Transponder", the program finds the channels. But this is very unhandy - I have to scan each transponder in order to get all the channels on my cable.
My Cable-System uses standard parameters like normal Frequencies, 6900 symbols, 64 QAM.
Is there anything I can tweak for this issue ?
Is there a possibility to script ProgDVB to scan all transponders ?
thx in advance,
peak400

#3Blind Search doesn't find any channels also.Prog wrote:You must select list in Settings->Provides. Or use blind search.
I am using "Cable (dvb-c)" under Settings -> Providers -> Transponder List.
Only if i select "Scan transponder" progdvb will find some
There is a diagnose-program for the cablestar 2 available called "Setup4PC". When Progdvb does a Channel Search, I can monitor, that it actually changes the frequencies goes through them according to the transponders list.
I think you must know best, what's the difference between those two scanning modes - since you know the code
