Hi
I have purchased and installed ProgDVB Professional, and it's running OK with my Compro S350 satellite card. BBC HD is the reason I got the software and card, and I can receive it, but the screen has the Elecard logo of the trial version.
I am trying to register the Elecard H264 codec- the elecard registrator asks for a serial number that is included in my purchase confirmation email, but will not accept it saying "wrong serial number".
What am I doing wrong?

ProgDVB not include any codecs. But you can use any codecs include divx (freeware)

No codecs included?? What??

So why have I paid 30ukp for a programme that says "HD support"?

What is the point of buying the Pro version? The free version is just the same!

Free programs such as DVBdream / DVBviewer also allow "HD Support" when you have a H264 codec!

How do I get a refund?

actually you should be happy as BBC HD use DVB-S and Not DVB-S2 which not supported by your Compro S350..

to added to your mind few & only few HD channel use DVB-S

Codec licenses are not part of the deal you've made.

Both Standard and Professional versions of ProgDVB include MPEG-2 shareware codec by Elecard.

Anyway, you don't have to bargain again, as free codecs are available, like ffdshow, for example. And you may already own others, like from your DVD player software. Some can be used from outside of their host applications, a few of those, possibly version dependent, even permanently from a demo version of that. This is 3rd party business, in any case.
