VCR

Please help,

connected my vcr to the DVB-S with the yellow video cable, but all i get is a black screen. I tried searching for the signal with no success. Could anyone please give me instructions on how to do this properly?

What DVB-S device do you have?

Only a SkyStar 1 Premium / Nexus would come with video and audio output ports, as they have a hardware decoder on board.
And that signal is compatible with VCRs, of course.

But several other DVB-S tuners only have a video input, not an output.
And with one of those you would then be out of luck.
BTW, does your graphics card have a video out port? If so, try this, plus line out of your sound card.
