Analog television?

#1
Hello all,

Sorry, I know this has been asked before, but how do you enable analog television within ProgDVB?

Summary:
- Installed the latest version of ProgDVB.
- Enabled the "Analog TV" option during ProgDVB installation.
- Running latest drivers for my tuner.
- My (hybrid, dual) tuner: ATI TV Wonder 650 Combo USB.
- Tuner detected as three separate devices by ProgDVB:
1) {BDA} ATI Digital Tuner. (enabled)
2) ATI AVStream Analog Capture TV in. (enabled)
3) ATI AVStream Analog Capture in. (enabled)
- Digital OTA ATSC works fine with ProgDVB.
- Analog OTA NTSC does NOT work with ProgDVB.
- Running Windows XP Pro with SP3 (32-bit).
- Have codecs for decoding/encoding: MPEG2, AC3, etc.
- Other apps work with this tuner for both analog and digital.

When I try to search for analog channels using the "ATI AVStream Analog Capture TV in" device, it simply says "scanned 0 of 68" forever. No progress and no level/quality readings.

I understand ProgDVB is primarily a digital television solution, but analog TV is one of the listed features. I'd like to know if it's been disabled or postponed. And if not, how can I get it work with my tuner.

I wanted to try ProgDVB Pro because of its PiP (picture-in-picture) feature, but if I can't get the analog part of my tuner working with it, PiP would be kinda pointless.

Thanks in advance :)

Thank you for the advice. I already have DScaler installed.
Unfortunately, setting it as the decoder did not make any difference.
Scanning for analog NTSC channels still results in being stuck at "scanned 0 of 68".

Anyone have other suggestions or tips?
Thanks for your time.
