Hello
It is the same old problem I had last year.
For a long time I always updated the ProgDVB program and it was working perfect.
Last week I decided to make a clean install. So I uninstalled 6.46.4 and clean installed 6.46.6.
And since that moment My dvb-s reciever stopped decoding the paytv programs.
Before that ProgDVB was decoding the programs OK. Sometimes it crashed during start up, or did not want to start properly. But ussually after a couple of restarts and crashes it worked.
Now ProgDVB 6.46.6 does NOT decode the programs at all.
My dvb-s is TT 3650 CI. The card I'm using is IRDETO.
I recieve the free programs, and I tested the card in conventional reciever and it works perfect.
Please can you help me to resolve my problem.
Last year I remember Prog gave me a link for the BDA.Device file which I downloaded and overwrited and the problem was resolved.
Thanks in advance.
Re: Win7 x64 + ProgDVB 6.46.6 + IRDETO CI not working
#21. You must use x32 version of ProgDVB for CI function on Technotrend devices.
Re: Win7 x64 + ProgDVB 6.46.6 + IRDETO CI not working
#3I use the X32 version of the ProgDVB!
AND it was WORKING 100% just two days ago.

Re: Win7 x64 + ProgDVB 6.46.6 + IRDETO CI not working
#4Check settings->Device options. Is Technotrend selected?
Re: Win7 x64 + ProgDVB 6.46.6 + IRDETO CI not working
#5Yes it is TechnoTrend.
I must say that I'm highly experienced user
I graduated Comuter Sciense in University of Toronto, so when I have a problem, I ussually try everithing possible and then the Forum of ProgDVB is my last chance...
So I don't post silly questiuons.
Thanks mate.
Tryed everithing... just can't start decoding. Last time I had a similar problem was at version 6.21.
May be you or prog gave me a link with a slightly different version of DVB.device file which resolved my problem. Then prog implemented the file in 6.23 and my problems went away.
Since then I upgrade the program...
When I made clean install of 6.46.6 I got the same problem again...

Re: Win7 x64 + ProgDVB 6.46.6 + IRDETO CI not working
#7The file is called "BDA.Device"in \Program Files (x86)\ProgDVB\Modules"
Re: Win7 x64 + ProgDVB 6.46.6 + IRDETO CI not working
#8I found older version of ProgDVB at another of my PC's so it WORKS 100%
The version is 6.34 it is working!

#10ОК.
I clean installed the 6.47.
The first time I started the program it crashed with thees errors:

Then on the NEXT start ProgDVB gave me the crash recovery console and I selected RESET all settings.
Then manually I enabled my TechnoTrend. Then set the Switch and LNB and it started playing the free programs.
Then 1/3 of my programs were decoded perfectly and 2/3 of the programs did NOT?
Strange.
Restarted a couple of times, the PC with cold restart, and the program... still the same situation..
There is another thing when you close the ProgDVB watching free channel. Next time you start it everithing is OK. Prog starts the picture etc. playing the channel.
If you close the ProgDVB on a scripted channel which you watch (ie. prog is working fine and is decoding fine). Next time you start it IT CRASHES big time. Then again restart and recovery console and latest working state recovers the program. But it is annoying sometimes...

Re: Win7 x64 + ProgDVB 6.46.6 + IRDETO CI not working
#11And there is even stranger fenomenon.
When I start ProgDVB, the program doesn't decode scrambled channels.
Then while switching channels at some point a program starts decoding...
Then I can see more channels, like 5,10 more. Then everytime it opens different channels.
At some point I found that there are channels it opens sometimes and does not open after some switching.
Then when I come bach to such a channel and prog is "black screen". I just open "Channel Properties" and hit Apply. Then prog starts decoding...
Strange...
